Scope and Content
List of bodies, individuals and countries participating in the Evian Conference.
The annex gives the main features of the declarations made at the Evian meeting. There are four schools of thought regarding refugees: 1. Return Jews to Palestine, 2. Assistance to Jews to be assimilated into new national environment into which they are transplanted, 3. Emigrants should have placed at their disposal an area not inhabited by any other population, 4. Jews should be guaranteed in their present country of residence all necessary protection.
