Scope and Content
The file contains a summary of the political memoirs of Paul Miliukov (Pavel Nikolayevich Milyukov) from 1905-1917. He began to write his memoirs in 1940 and died in 1943, at the age of 84. He spent the final two years of his life in an effort to complete his memoirs, but they were published posthumously, uncompleted. He was a historian and political analyst, very much involved in Russian politics before the revolution. Expelled from the Moscow University in 1881 and exiled from Moscow in 1985. Also testimonies, from the years of 1905 till 1917, by other people about him and by him about other people are included in the summary. He furthermore testified in the Bern trial.
