The first one is part of a letter from the newspaper “Neuchatelois”‘s correspondent (dated to 27th October 1937, Berne) which reports about the decisive phase of the Protocols trial at the Bern Supreme Court. The letter explains that the forged Protocols authors aimed to undermine liberalism, democracy, and even socialism. It points at the worldwide reach of the debates versus the minimalism of the crime. It also presents the trial’s history and its different phases, as well as the Protocols’ history. The second document is an article from the newspaper “Le Democrate” (dated to 27th October, Bern) which explains in details the four phases of the Protocols’ trial and gives information about the witnesses. The third document is an article from the newspaper [“Neuchatelois”?] correspondent based on the previous letter. In addition to the letter content, the article provides detailed information about the debates which took place on the previous Wednesday, among them a special debate about the right of the Jewish communities to file a claim.
