Scope and Content

The file contains correspondences from August till September 1937. The file is the forth part of the Verfilmungsprojekt "Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zion" by the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich; Archiv für Zeitgeschichte. The topics in the letters concern, among other things, the publication of court material, antisemitic publications after the Bern trial by Fleischhauer and his Welt-Dienst and other newspapers. The conspiracy theories of Feischhauer used during the Bern trial as well as after it are also discussed in the letters. In some correspondences it is discussed how to deal with the court material and if more material should be collected for future use. Especially the antisemitic publication, which have been also compared within different countries by the collectors. Additionally, informations about these publications have been shared in the correspondences. Other correspondences exchange informations about the Protocols of the Wise man of Zion and the Bern trial in general. Furthermore letters of the Schweizerischen Israelischen Gemeindebund (Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities) and the Israelischen Kultusgemeinde Bern are attached. In addition handwritten letters and telegrams are presented.
