Scope and Content
The file contains several letters and reports regarding, addressed to and written by C.A. Lifschitz. Some letters are concerning the Leonard against Loosli Trial, where Loosli got accused of defamation and honorable insult in his expertise for the Bern Trial. Loosli explained in his expertise that the Frontisten (Nationale Front Switzerland), especially Mr. Leonhard, are depending on the Third Reich. Based on this statement Leonhard got insulted and accused Loosli of defamation and honorable insult. The letters show informations about the defense and the accusation, written by Loosli, Lifschitz and others. Furthermore lists regarding photocopies of letters and documents collected in dossiers can be seen. Also a list of code names, 'Decknamen-Liste' for the Welt-Dienst workers is attached. The collection of letters shows further information concerning the payment of Boris Toedli and Silvio Schnell, as well as witness statements for the trial Boris Toedli against C.A. Loosli. Also the correspondence between Ruef and Lifschitz, regarding the Loosli trials is attached.
