The file contains a transcript entitled as 'Widerhandlung gegen das Gesetz betr. die Schundliteratur'. This transcript from the 14th of May 1935 shows on 68 pages details of the Bern trial. The first page of the transcript presents most of the participants present on that day. As the judge Walter Meyer is listed, the accused are Silvio Schnell, Konrad Meyer, Georg Haller, Walter Ebersold and Theodor Fischer. The plaintiff is the Scheizerische Israelische Gemeinbund and the Israelische Kultusgemeinde Bern, the expterts are C.A. Loosli, Prof Baumgarten and Ulrich Flerischhauer. The stenographer is Dr. Vollerweider. Furthermore the report explains explicit the process in the Bern trial. Starting with the plaint against trashy literature 'Schundliteratur', continuing with the presentation of testimonies and evidences, discussions of the content of The Protocols of the wise man of Zion and comparisons to other trash literature and anti-Semitic propaganda. Also the reports of the experts are mentioned and discussed in this transcript. Especial the report by Fleischhauer and his excessive way of proving the Protocols as authentic are explained in this transcript. At the end of this transcript the verdict of Walter Meyer is presented.
