Falsche Zitate
Extent and Medium
1 electronic resource (43 pages)
Scope and Content
The file contains a collection of Freyenwald concerning 'Falsche Zitate' (wrong quotes). Freyenwald was collecting newspaper cuttings from several newspaper from all over Europe and checked their quotations. Most of the newspaper cuttings in this file are nevertheless from German newspapers or from the Welt-Dienst. Also correspondences between Freyenwald and the Welt-Dienst can be seen. For him it was important that the newspapers report on high standarts and that their quotations would be correct. He did not want that the, mostly anti-Semitic, reports would not be taken serious or questioned because the authors quote wrong.
