Scope and Content
The file contains a copy of the address of Father Adrien Pages to a Freemason assembly in Paris. His speech states that Freemasonry is universal, and abhors violence and coercion. Freemasonry should practice freedom of belief and equality, based entirely upon personal merit. All institutions and societal traditions opposed to this ideal should be dismantled, for which he prays. He calls for a "universal republic".
