Letter from Aleksandr Tager to a Sergeĭ Iustovich (last name unspecified) concerning the beginning of investigating for the Bern trial. Tager expresses his readiness and eagerness to help in the investigation as a means to counteract reactionary and nationalist forces, and indicates that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR - as it is not obliged to make an official stance on the matter - is willing to help with archival research. Tager also mentions the delayed publication of his book about Beilis, and says he is willing to prepare an expose of the Beilis affair. He likewise brings up the matter of expenses.
