Scope and Content

The file contains several transcription of the newspaper 'The Times' from 1920 and 1921, in London. Main topics of the translations are regarding the 'Jewish danger' (Jüdische Gefahr), a disquieting Pamphlet which had to be reviewed. As the translation from the 8th of Mai 1920 shows 'The Times' did not discuss this little book yet, even though the spreading grew. In the transcription the name of the book is not mentioned, but the content: a critique of liberalism, the alleged plans of "World Jewry" to take over world domination and the future Jewish world empire. Furthermore several topics regarding the authenticity, the plausibility and questions based on the text have been discussed. The importance of a scientific and accurate analysis arised. Other transcriptions show that on the 16th of August 1921 'The Times' exposed the protocols as a forgery. Under the title 'finally the truth' 'The Times' proofed that the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion', or as it had appeared in London 'The Jewish danger', are just a heavy fake. In several editions 'The Times' published and discussed the 'Protocols' and provided more and more evidence for the falsification. Also the position of the church and other countries towards this forgery have been reviewed and compared.
