Scope and Content

Summary fo an appeal made by Ulrich Fleischhauer and Ferederic Eisenegger to the canton of Vaud court of a decision to assign them court fees for their espionage case. The court of appeal determined that the judgment made was justified and that the inquiry was conducted in a meticulous manner, and without prejudice, and that the activity of Eisenegger and his contacts with the German ministry of Propaganda were sufficient to justify the case being brought to court. Furthermore, Eisenegger was already on speaking terms with Fleischhauer concerning information about the world Jewish Congress, during his trip to Germany in 1935. As such, the decision of the court is upheld.
