Scope and Content
The file contains a correspondence of Toedtli with several people involved in the Bern trial, in the Welt-Dienst, as well as with people sharing his anti-Semitic ideology. For example with Sergej Razev, the functionary of the Russian Fascist Party (RFP) in the 1930th, who corresponded with Toedtli in order to get NS-propaganda material. And with Nikolaj Evgen'evic Markov, who was a Russian right wing political and leading figure in the Union of the Russian People (UPR). Since 1935 he has been a member of the World Service and from 1936 editor of the Russian edition of this newspaper. He also assisted Fleischhauer and Toedtli during the Bern trial. Other letters are also regarding the exchange of anti-Semitic ideology and propaganda material. Furthermore the letters inform about the publishing and distribution of anti-Semitic material in several countries and the way over which the materials have been sent and passed on. Some letters are also regarding the Bern trial and for this information have been exchanged and plans of new strategies have been worked out.
