Scope and Content
The file contains the court protocol of the first session of the Bern Trial on the 29th of April 1935. The judge Walter Mayer announced that Silvio Schnell was accused by Ruef to use false statements of witnesses for the court. Furthermore is Ruef complaining that not all of his witnesses have been summoned. He also claims full access to the Russian documents for him and Fleischhauer in order to be fully prepared for the following sessions. Fleischhauer used this session again for his propaganda and declared that only his expertise explains the issue about the Protocols of the wise man of Zion. At the end of this session Baumgarten starts to present and discuss his expertise statement. He declared the Protocols of the Elders of Zion as a plagiarism and a forgery produced by helpers of the tsarist Russian Okhrana and explained in detail his statement.
