Begründung betreffend das Urteil im Prozess um die Zionistischen Protokolle

The file contains a criminal case entitled "Die I Strafkammer des Obergerichts des Kantons Bern hat in ihrer Sitzung vom 1. November 1937 unter Mitwirkung der Herrn Oberrichter Peter, stellvetretender Praesident der I. Strafkammer, Dr. Imer und Indwig; Kammerschreiber i.V. Zuercher; in der Strafsache gegen Alfred Silvio Schnell und Theodor Fischer wegen Wiederhandlung gegen Art. 14 [...] gegen die Schundliteratur vom 10.9.1916." (The I Criminal Division of the Canton of Bern has, in its session of November 1, 1937, with the participation of Mr. Chief Justice Peter, Deputy Chairman of the First Criminal Division, Dr. Ing. Imer and Indwig; Kammerschreiber i.V. Zuercher; in the criminal case against Alfred Silvio Schnell and Theodor Fischer, for re-offending against Art. 14 [...] against the trash literature of 10.9.1916). In detail the trial regarding the 'Protocols of the wise man of Zion', the role of the accused ones and the procedure of the trial itself are discussed. Eventually, the defendants Theodor Fischer and Silvio Schnell were sentenced by judge Walter Meyer in his verdict, for distribution of publications.
