Scope and Content

The file contains an explanation of Sergej Nilus, the son of Sergej Alexandrowitsch Nilus, which he sent to the Welt-Dienst in order to answer questions and assumptions which have been made by Alexandre du Chayla. Chayla published his informations about Nilus and his family in the 'American Hebrew' in 1921 and again in 1934. According to Nilus Chayla was mixing information's and adding untruth information to his articles. In his explanation Nilus is regarding to the article named: 'Nilus, der Faelscher der Protokolle, entlarvt' (Nilus, the Counterfeiter of the Protocols, unmasked). Furthermore he is referring to translations made by several newspapers and evidences for the Bern Trial which were translated wrongly. He corrects wrong information's about his fathers live and work, as well as about the friendship between his mother N.A. Wolodimeroff and Helene A. Oseroff, the wife of Nilus. He assures that he can testify his information's and this explanation at the Bern trial if necessary. The explanation he sent to the Welt-Dienst has his signature.
