Scope and Content
The assortment of letters from the Joint Foreign Committee and the Union of Jewish Communities in Switzerland, as well as the Alliance Israelite Universelle, mostly concerning the resuming Bern trial. The committee and the Jewish news agencies of the world express concern and their opinion of the importance of the trial, and note that it must be portrayed properly. The Alliance Israelite Universelle and the Union of Jewish Communities in Switzerland correspond concerning the acquisition of certain archival documents in the Jewish archives, as well as biographical details of Maurice Joly. In most cases the Alliance Israelite Universelle cannot find the requested documents, articles or books.
