The document is a synopsis in French of a Russian-Language book by Prince N.D.Gewakhov,which is a complete biography of Sergei Nilus, According to the book's author, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were not written by Nilus, but by a Jew named Ginsburg, and Nilus received them third-hand only. The books comments on the history of the Protocols and their spread in Europe, including arrival in Germany, and on Nilus's death in 1930.
