Widerstandsliteratur

The publication by the "Association of the persecuted of the Nazi regime" provides an overview of literature by persecuted persons or resistance fighters against the Third Reich. It is divided by topics in four parts and various sub categories: I. General literature (a. reference works, statistics, b. reports on resistance work, c. general description on resistance, d. documentation and photographs.) II. Literature of concentration camps and Nazi atrocities (a. reference works and statistics, b. individual camps and prisons, c. general testimonies of persecution, d. documents and visual records), III. Literature and artistic renderings (a. novels, short stories, b. poems, quotations, c. drama, etc., d. biographies, e. lithographs, sketches, caricatures) IV. Appendix (a. bibliography, b. research, c. core library, d. general literature about the Nazi period). Some entries are marked with a large R (judges) or E (educators) indicating their usefulness for these respective professions.
