Scope and Content

The publication provides an overview of the struggle of the people of Yugoslavia in their fight against the German occupiers. The beginnings of resistance (after the collapse of the government) under the leadership of Josip Broz Tito were shaped into a movement after the German attack on the Soviet Union. The life of Tito, partisan warfare and the fraught relationship of Tito and Mihailovich are discussed in separate chapters.
