Scope and Content
The newspaper published by the Polish Labor Group New York from May 20th, 1944, reports on the intensified fights against the Germans in various parts of Poland. Numerous trains were blown up leading to high German casualties. The newspaper claims that the increased German patrols guarding the trains are not effective. It reports about the “Gas war” waged in camps against Jews and Polish fighters, calling on President Roosevelt to act decisively. A review of books on resistance fights is included in a separate chapter.
