Scope and Content
The collection on postwar Holocaust-related trials at the Hungarian Jewish Archive includes miscellaneous materials, containing indictments, pleas, legal opinions and verdicts. There are excerpts from various testimonies regarding the activity of Adolf Eichmann in Hungary in 1944. Moreover, the collection contains the testimonies of some of the chief Hungarian perpatrators of the Holocaust. Moreover, there are summaries of several major trials in various international languages such as those of László Endre, László Baky, Andor Jaross, Béla Imrédy, Ferenc Rajniss and László Budinszky. The collection also contains accounts of several former Jewish Council members as well as survivor testimonies. Last but not least, news reports and correspondence related to Holocaust-related trials are also included.
