Notes that he has attached two photographs with the letter: one of the house in Freiberg, Moravia [now Příbor, Czech Republic], showing the memorial ?table; and the other of a bust of Freud made by Oscar Nemon of Brussels, presented to him on his last birthday. [These are not present with the letter.] The photograph of the bust included could be GB 133 SSF/2/11; and for photographs of the house at Freiberg, see GB 133 SSF/2/10 and GB 133 SSF/2/12/1-2.
Reports that public conditions have worsened and his sons are struggling financially.
