Biographical History

The North Finchley Zionist Society, formerly the North Finchley and District Zionist Society, was established in 1956. It is an affiliated society of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. Its aims are to support the Jewish state of Israel, to promote good relations between the peoples of Britain, the United Nations and the state of Israel, and to promote Zionist cultural activity.

Scope and Content

Working papers 1968-92, including committee minutes, 1983-7 (1 file); correspondence; black and white photographs of hospital trolleys donated by the Society and financial papers, 1968-91.
