Papers of Dr Bernard Homa including: (i) Papers relating to the Board of Deputies: constitution, as amended in 1945, together with the constitution as amended April 1949 with the report of the special meeting of the Board. Report of the committee on the constitution and bye-laws, Dec 1948. (ii) Correspondence and papers relating to Jewish marriages, 1935-51 (iii) Papers relating to the Jewish War Services Committee and Jewish Committee for H.M. Forces, 1947 (iv) Assorted correspondence, c.1884-1954, including letters from Rabbi A.A.Werner, 1901 and 1903; a letter from the Chief Rabbi's Religious Emergency Council, 1943; a letter from Chief Rabbi Hertz, 1939; letters from Richard Offor to Dr Homa, 1951 and 1954; a letter from Ivan Greenberg relating to M.H.Davis, 1944; a letter from the Union of Orthodox Congregations to Arthur Greenwood, 1931; and a letter from R.Zwi Friedmann, Poland; certificate of registration as an Ottoman citizen relating to Hannah Zelda Deichowiski, an aunt of Dr Homa, 1884; draft agreement between Adath Yisrael Synagogue Burial Society and the Machzike Hadath Burial Society, 1928; memorial service for Queen Victoria, 1901; list of members of the Anglo-Jewish Conference on the Jewish Agency, 1929; a paper entitled 'The structure of the Anglo-Jewish community', read by Dr Homa, 1932; letter and list of deeds relating to Spitalfields Great Synagogue, 1714- 1922; account of income and expenditure of Machzike Hadath, 1899- 1901.
