Prof. Dr. George Lachmann Mosse (1918-1999) was an eminent US-American historian of Jewish-German descent.

Scope and Content

Correspondence on various issues including among others the ‘Rudolf Mosse Code’ and the writing of pieces for The Wiener Library’s Bulletin. Contained is a copy of Mitteilungen der jüdischen Reformgemeinde zu Berlin from 1920, containing an article about the sudden death of Rudolf Mosse, George’s grandfather.
