Biographical History

Prof. Dr. Günther Moltmann (1926-1994) was a German historian who taught at the Hamburg University. His main focus was the German-American relation.

Scope and Content

The correspondence centres on two articles Moltmann contributed to The Wiener Library’s bulletin. One concerned the USA’s reaction to the November pogrom 1938, and the other the its policy of the ‘unconditional surrender’ during the Second World War.
