Biographical History

Roman Mogilanski (born Abram Mogilaner; 1913-1982) was an American Journalist of Polish-Jewish descent. A survivor of Buchenwald concentration camp he emigrated to the US after the Second World War.

Scope and Content

The letters concern a restitution related enquiry by Mogilanski for a copy of ‘Glos Poranny’, a former Jewish daily from the city of Łodz he had been writing for.
