Biographical History

Originally from East Prussia, Leo Meyer was a Jewish-German refugee who had left Germany for Australia.

Scope and Content

After being approached by journalist and survivor, Ruth Liepman, the correspondence deals with the options for purchasing a manuscript Meyer had written on his experiences as translator and member of Australian Intelligence Service. Contained are letters by Leo Meyer, his son Charles, and Ruth Liepman.
