Biographical History

Ida Meyer-Chagall (1916-1994) was the daughter of artist Marc Chagall. A well-known figure in the Parisian art scene, she organized several exhibitions of her father’s work.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding an antisemitic letter from the U. S. and antisemitic incidents Meyer-Chagall had been confronted with. The Wiener Library contacted the Anti-Defamation league for support subsequently.
