Biographical History

Marcos Margulies was a Brazilian author and Holocaust survivor of Polish descent. He had been interned in the Łodz Ghetto during the Second World War.

Scope and Content

Following a visit of Margulies at The Wiener Library, the correspondence focuses on the consignment of an article about the Library he had published in Brazil, and primary source material (1 copy of a photo, 2 documents) from the Ghetto Łodz from his possession. Furthermore, he enquires for some historical photos as well as a membership at the Library.
