Biographical History

Dr. Wilhelm (Guillermo) Lustig (1886-1960) was a Jewish-German lawyer from Upper Silesia. Through his work for the Centralverein deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens (C.V.) he was acquainted with Alfred Wiener. In the late 1930s he emigrated to Argentina. Scope and Content

Including much personal information and therewith illustrating the Lustig’s personal friendship with Alfred Wiener as well as Eva Reichmann, the correspondence centres on the Library’s options for receiving published material and further information about Jewish life in Argentina and South America. Furthermore, it contains mutual birthday wishes on occasion of Wiener’s and Lustig’s 70. birthday.
