Biographical History

Established in West-Berlin after the Second World War, Lettner-Verlag was a publishing house related to the German Evangelical Church. It ceased its activities in 1970.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding the upcoming book of Jewish-German physician and Holocaust survivor Dr Lucie Adelsberger (‘Auschwitz’) and an enquiry for contact details of foreign institutions that might be interested in this publication. Furthermore, the purchase of a copy of an image from The Wiener Library’s photo archive is addressed.
