Biographical History

Dr Norbert Leser (1933-2014) was an Austrian philosopher and author. The prolific writer is known for his affirmative but also critical work on the Austrian Social Democratic Party.

Scope and Content

Following a visit in London and the publication of an article about The Wiener Library in the Arbeiter Zeitung, the central newspaper of Austrian Social Democratic Party, the correspondence centres on Leser’s involvement in gathering Austrian eyewitness accounts for the Library’s eyewitness testimony project as well as the compiling of various related background information.
