Biographical History

Louise Leibholz was a Jewish-German social worker and formerly employed at the Centralverein deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens (C.V.). When the Nazis came to power in 1933 she left the country and settled in England.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding a restitution related enquiry by Leibholz for an affidavit of her employment at the Centralverein deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens (C.V.) from 1921-33. Contained are brief correspondences with former C.V. officials Ernst Gottfried Lowenthal, Johannes Rohse, Hans Reichmann and Kurt Friedländer.
