Biographical History

Friedrich Elias Laupheimer (1890-1961) was a Jewish-German economist and rabbi. After being imprisoned in Dachau concentration camp in the wake of the November Pogrom 1938 he and his family left Germany for Palestine.

Scope and Content

An enquiry by The Wiener Library to receive a copy of Laupheimer’s notes on the Jewry of Buchen (Odenwald).
