Biographical History

A Landgericht (LG) is a district court for ordinary jurisdiction in the federal states of Germany. As such, it serves as mid-level court for private and criminal law. The hearing of restitution cases as well as criminal proceedings of Nazi perpetrators are assigned to its remit.

In preparation of a trial of Nazi diplomat and perpetrator Horst Wagner the correspondence deals with the consignment of books.
