Biographical History

Prof. Dr. Lothar Kahn (1922-1990) was a US-American university scholar of modern languages. Of Jewish-German origin, he and his family had emigrated from Nazi Germany in the mid-1930s.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding an article Kahn contributed to the Library’s Bulletin, advice on expanding the journal’s readership, and the provision of the Library with press cuttings of articles Kahn had published.
