Biographical History

Ernest Kahn was the son of Jewish-German entrepreneur Nathan Kahn from Cologne. The family had emigrated to Johannesburg, South Africa in 1919.

Scope and Content

Correspondence concerning the donation of a book and documents Ernest Kahn had planned to make to the Wiener Library. Included is a letter from the Council of Jews from Germany.
