Biographical History

The Israeli Embassy in London is the official diplomatic mission of Israel in Great Britain.

Scope and Content

Correspondence on various subjects including among others: the Deir Yassin massacre, the Library’s options of taking over accommodations at Manchester Square 18 from the embassy, the gathering of various information, the loan of materials to Yad Vashem, and the processing of enquiries on political backgrounds of certain German individuals.

Contained are also correspondences with the Israel Mission in Cologne as well as Israeli state authorities. The latter concerns the terms for sending a Wiener Library observer to the Eichmann Trial in Jerusalem and for receiving transcripts of the case files.
