Biographical History
Dr. Kurt Hiller (1885-1972) was a Jewish-German lawyer, writer and pacifist. Upon being interned in the concentration camps Columbia Haus, Brandenburg, and Oranienburg in 1933 and 1934 he emigrated to Prague and later to England. In 1956 he returned to (West) Germany.

Containing handwritten and typewritten letters the correspondence regards information about Jewish-German law professor Erich Kaufmann, the exchange of materials and comments on some pieces Hiller had authored, and a discussion of some current affairs in West Germany.
