Werner Hilgemann (1921-2004) was a German teacher, cartographer and textbook author.

Correspondence regarding documentation into the burning of the synagogues within the borders of Nazi Germany also arranged by city; questions on antisemitism in recent history and the desecration of Jewish cemeteries during the Weimar Republic; documents regarding forced labour and ghettos in Poland; request for eyewitness testimonies; and the publication of map: Deutschland unter der Hitler-Diktatur 1939-1945.
