Biographical History

The Hessisches Landesrabbinat was the office of the chief rabbi of the West German constituent state of Hesse.

Scope and Content

Correspondence in response to an article in the newspaper Kölnische Rundschau, in which it is stated that Nazi placards and other propaganda had been seized by the Frankfurt police, requesting the addressee to provide the library with copies of this material for the archives.
