Biographical History
Rose Henriques (1889-1972) was a British-Jewish welfare worker. She joined committees carrying out welfare work among the surviving remnant of European Jewry in Germany and was part of the second team to arrive at Bergen Belsen after its liberation. Henriques remained preoccupied with welfare work in displaced persons' camps until 1950.
