Biographical History
Dr Wilhelm Harmelin was a Jewish-German lawyer and co-owner of an old fur trade business in Leipzig. After the Nazis came to power he had been imprisoned in Sachsenburg concentration camp for several months. In 1939 he emigrated to England.
