Biographical History
Eric Goodman was a Jewish-German refugee from Berlin/Potsdam. Before arriving in England in 1941, he had been arrested in the wake of the November Pogrom 1938 and imprisoned in Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
Scope and Content
Beside the exchange of published material and Goodman’s The Wiener Library membership the correspondence deals with an eyewitness account about experiences in the Nazi era he had contributed to the Library’s eyewitness testimony project.
