Biographical History

Sabine Glassner was a Jewish-German social worker from Danzig (now Gdansk, Poland). She was among those Jews who had tried to immigrate to Palestine in 1940, but were interned on Mauritius by the British authorities instead.

Comprising handwritten and typewritten letters the correspondence concerns a restitution related enquiry by Glassner for an affidavit about her former employment at the Hilfsverein der Deutschen Juden.
