Biographical History

Prof. Dr. Isaiah Friedman was an Israeli historian and scholar of Zionism and Palestine.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding assistance for the research of Friedman on German, Turkish and British policies towards Zionism around the First World War, including financial, publication and scholarly support. Contained are a letter by the West German Federal Archives as well as the archive of the country’s Foreign Office.
