Biographical History

Dr. Elisabeth Freundlich (1906-2001) was a Jewish-Austrian writer. She had survived the Nazi era in exile.

Scope and Content

Following an enquiry by Freundlich to Robert Weltsch (Leo Baeck Institute London) The Wiener Library provides her with bibliographic information for a planned research project on German exile literature 1933-1945.
