Biographical History

Paul W. Freedman was an American representative of Jewish organisations. Before returning to the US he had worked for the Institut für Sozialforschung in Frankfurt, Radio Free Europe, and the Morroco branch of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee since the early 1950s.

Scope and Content

The correspondence documents the long-term and close association between Freedman and The Wiener Library. It centres on the exchange of information on numerous issues as well as published material. Beside letters some greeting cards as well as a transcript from a publication is contained.
