Biographical History

The Frankfurter Hefte is a German monthly political magazine. The left-liberal periodical had been founded in 1946.

Scope and Content

The correspondence centres on the sending of published material by The Wiener Library for review purposes. Among the correspondents is Eugen Kogon, editor of the Frankfurter Hefte, survivor of Buchenwald concentration camp, and author of one of the first studies on German concentration camps ever published (Der SS-Staat from 1946).
